The owners at easy, javier and melissa, dreamed of making Yangon their new home when they first visited in early 2013. With a little leap of faith, they embarked on their new journey in October that same year with an unpretentious idea to create a ‘home away from home’. easy opened in December 2013 with a single-minded objective – to ‘make it easy, take it easy and have it easy’ for every guest that wanders into easy neighbourhood, be it for a cool tea beverage away from Yangon’s sunny tropical climate or to tantalize their tastebuds with easy’s array of asian-western fusion gourmet delights.

Delectable recommendations include the already popular braised pork rice with specialty egg, chicken chop with specialty dips, eggs benedict, soya beancurd pudding with lychee, mango crumble parfait, red tea ice jelly, illy espresso and the range of refreshing tea-based beverages. Set in an art-decor café ambience, pleasing the exquisite palate of customers is what prides the easy team.

easy has since won the ‘Best Café’ award by popular vote in the recent Myanmore’s 2015 Awards (Myanmar’s leading event’s and F&B publication company) and was nominated ‘Best Newcomer’ in Myanmore’s 2014 Awards.
